NATASA SILJKOVIC

I met John Colich through a mentorship program at USC when I was a freshman.

At the time, I was afraid and uncomfortable because it was my first time living in a different country, and I didn’t know anyone in the USA. We bonded over our Serbian roots. Soon enough, I met Janine, and they have been like a family for me since. John and Janine were always there for me: watching my volleyball and beach volleyball games, being there when I received recognition and awards for academic achievements, USC degrees, birthdays, holidays… Janine helped me after the most difficult surgery to recover and feel better. There are no words I can use to describe the incredible impact Colich family had on my life and I can only say I am ever grateful to know John and Janine Colich.
